Oneeko
Oneeko is a free screensharing software that will allow your instructor help you more thoroughly this semester. You need to download and install it, as well as set up a free account with oneeko. That way when you need help and your instructor needs to see your screen, the software will already be on your the computer and we won't need to go through this process.Oneeko should already be installed on your computer. Go to start>Programs and there should be a Oneeko folder with a oneeko icon inside it. If not, you will need to install it. The next page has installation instructions. If you already have it installed, skip to the 3rd page that talks about creating an account.
Installation Instructions
- Go to http://www.oneeko.com/ and click on the "Download" button across the top.
- There will be a "Windows Download" button. Click on it. (see image below)
- A installation window will pop up and it will ask you to "Run" "Save" or "Cancel" the file. Hit Save. (see image below)
4. The downloaded file will appear in your downloads list. Double click on it. (See image below)
5. The Oneeko Setup program will begin to run. Click next. (See image below)
6. Agree to the terms and click next. Then click next again to confirm your setup settings. The installation will run for a few minutes and then you will see this screen:
7. There now should be a Oneeko icon on your desktop. It looks like this:
**If you don't see the icon on your desktop, click on "Start" and then look at your list of programs. Oneeko should be listed in a folder titled "Oneeko."
Create an account
Run Oneeko. This will take you to the set up screen and prompt you to create a new Oneeko account. Remember your username and password so that if you need to use it you will be able to.
