Getting Started with Prezi

Prezi Intro

Prezi is an online presentation tool. It is different from sliderocket, powerpoint or google slideshow because it doesn't use "slides." Prezi uses the size of objects to create a hierarchy. Confused? Watch this video:



Create Prezi Student Account

To get started with Prezi, you will first need to create a student account. Go to THIS url, click the "GET" button under the "Edu Enjoy" option and then enter your school email address.

Once you have a student account (not just a regular FREE account), login to Prezi.

Creating a New Prezi

Click on  in the top left to get started! A window will pop up asking you to put in a title and description, as well as select a theme.

Once you have put in these settings, click "Create" in the lower right corner:




Once you click "Create," Prezi will take you back to your main page. You have to click on the project you just created in order to get into it. Click on the link on your project that says "Open Me":



The "Open Me" button will bring you to a file manager page, where you have a bunch of different options of what to do with your presentation. Click "Open":



At last, you will finally see a blank Prezi presentation, waiting to be filled in! It should look something like this, depending on the theme that you selected:



You are ready to start adding content to your Prezi!
