Adding Shapes, Images, Frames, & Numbered Paths
Intro
You should already know all about how to use Prezi from the last lesson (Prezi Workflow). Here is a quick lesson on 4 things you will for sure be using in your Prezi assignment - Adding Shapes, Images, Frames, & Numbered PathsAdding Shapes
To add a shape, like an arrow, to a Prezi - first click on "Insert" on the Prezi toolbar. Then, click on "Shapes."
Select the shape you wish to insert into your Prezi. In the Prezi assignment, you will be using arrows, so an arrow is a great place to start.
Once you have the shape tool selected, click and drag your shape on the Prezi canvas.
That's it! You've added a shape.
Adding Images
Start the same way you add shapes - first click on "Insert" on the Prezi toolbar. This time, instead of clicking on "Shape" click on "Load File."
Now locate the file on your computer of the image you want to upload. Click "open" once you have located it.
Prezi will take a moment to upload the image, then the image will be content on your Prezi! It's just that easy.
You can change the size of your image by selecting it and using the transformation zebra:
Adding Frames
A frame is a Prezi element that groups content together within the Prezi. Put frames around things that you want to stay together, like a picture and a caption. To add a frame around something, click on "Frame."
Now, select whichever frame you like.
To use the frame you have selected, click and drag the frame around the elements on the Prezi. Drag the frame around the elements you want held within the frame.
*Remember, you can have frames within frames. (see in the example above?) Then when you add your numbered paths, Prezi will zoom in on the particular frames.
Adding Numbered Paths
A numbered path is the order that the Prezi will present the elements of your Prezi. It's what zooms in on certain elements and moves to the different parts of the Prezi. To add a numbered path, click on "Path."
Then, click on "1, 2...add."
Now, click on the frames you stuck around the elements in your Prezi - make sure you click on them each once, and in the order that you want the prezi to show them.
Now you have an ordered path! If you click on "Show" and then the arrows in the bottom right corner, you can preview your prezi.
Always make sure to save your work!
