How to add visual effects onto images

The first thing to add to so-so looking presentation is visual effects onto images. You can have a plain image laying around, but you also could have a really cool image with an awesome border, or a faded haze around it, or a reflection of the image just below it! The possibilities are endless. Check out this 60 second vid on how to add visual effects onto images:

Adding Audio Narration

Part of your assignment is to add audio narration to your slideshow. Microsoft powerpoint does not even have an audio recording capability. This is a MUST WATCH video.

Advancing to the next slide

Here are some options for how viewers can get to the next slide themselves. Sometimes you might want the next slide to appear after your narration. Here is the next 60 second vid titled "Advancing to the next slide."

Transitions

Sometimes, you might want the transition to the next slide to be extra special...not just some boring old ::APPEAR:: new slide ::APPEAR:: new slide ::APPEAR:: new slide type thing. This video is titled: "Transitions!"

Builds

Sliderocket has things called "Builds." A build is something that allows you to add an animation-like option to an element on your slide. That way, things don't have to appear all at once after a transition. You can start with just the title on your page, and then have different elements like a picture, some text and a caption all appear.

Previewing and Sharing
