Él/Ella and Ellos/Ellas Forms Notes and Practice

Please watch the following video on the él/ella and ellos/ellas forms of -AR verbs. These are the forms we use when we are talking about one person or a group of people. Él means "he" and ella means "she". This form is used when talking about one person. We always need to include the "él" or "ella" in front of the verb (to indicate who we're talking about, since there are two choices). Or, you can use the person's name, rather than saying "él" or "ella". The ellos/ellas form is used when talking about a group of people (two or more). Ellos means "they (all males or a group of males and females)" and ellas means "they (all females)". Again, we need to say "ellos" or "ellas" before the verb to indicate our subject. And again, if we want to include the names of the people, rather than saying "they", that is fine. There is an activity at the end of the video. These are the questions that will be asked in the quiz (which is really just practice) you need to complete at the bottom of this page.
