What is Pixlr?
In this course you are going to use an online image editor called Pixlr to edit photos and create advertisments.
Pixlr is very similar to Photoshop, except that it is an online application. This means that you can use it anywhere you have a internet connection and it is free.
Here is a link to the Pixlr website. This link will take you to a page that explains how Pixlr works. The directions are broken into 5 areas, click on the first area called the work environment. For this assignment click on the work environment link and a answer the following questions.
1. What is the Toolbox and where is it located on the screen?
2. What is the Tool options bar and where is it located on the screen?
3. What is the Navigator panel and where is it located on the screen?
4. What is the Layers panel and where is it located on the screen?
5. What is the History panel and where is it located on the screen?
