Gallery Day - Your chance to critique and enjoy photographs This is our first gallery day. We'll spend time looking and talking about the photographs we find online. There are lots of places to look at photos. I'll have you start with some of the links at PhotoBlogs.org. We'll be looking at the Hall-of-Fame blogs listed there. This list of top photo-blogs is updated every Friday so be sure to come back every week to see new sites.  About advertising on the sites we visit: Many of the sites linked in our course are supported by advertising banners. If you're interested in the ad, and click on it, the host site may earn a few cents. This is not a bad thing! Be a wise web consumer though and KNOW when you are clicking on an ad and on part of the site. The number #1 rule for Gallery Day: Enjoy the experience! The #2 rule is to share the experience. Plan on sharing your favorites with a partner and then with the whole class. If you're taking this course on-line, you'll be doing this through the course forum. You'll need to select one photo and post the URL and your comments to complete the assignment. In writing about the photograph you select, consider the choices the photographer made and the impact that choice had on the viewer.
