Unit 8.2 - Graphics

You are working at Level 4 if you can:
  • Create graphics and images that are suitable for their intended purpose.
  • Comment on what is good and bad about your own work.
  • Identify how graphic products are used outside school for a range of purposes. 

You are working at Level 5 if you can:
  • Describe how to make images appropriate to a particular audience.
  • Review your graphic products and make changes to improve your work. 
  • Name 3 features of a graphics package which can help improve a photograph.
  • Discuss the benefits of using ICT to create graphic products.

You are working at Level 6 if you can:
  • Explain your design choices and how your work suits its audience and purpose.
  • Give feedback on your own and others' work and make improvements to your work following suggestions from others.
  • Explain how images can be used to create an effect, eg, shock or relax.
