This vendor produced video (Read and Write Gold software) is a good example of how the software has multiple word selection methods. The desired word once recognized can be selected and inserted into the writing by:
- typing it out on the keyboard - using the visual sample to spell it correctly
- clicking directly on the desired word
- pressing the function key that corresponds to the desired word
- other word predictions software program use the number keys rather than the function key to complete the word selection
The important portion of this video is the first 2 minutes, showing the different options of word selection. The remainder of the video is very specific to the options within Read and Write Gold software.
