3.17 Learn about singular and plural nouns
There are two ways to make a singular noun plural
1. Add an “s” to the noun if it ends with vowel (a, e, i, o, u)
2. Add an “es” if it ends with consonant.
OJO (caution): Sometimes, if the ending of a singular noun has an accent, it will go away when it is plural. For example, word that end in -ión will lose the accent and change to -iones when it is plural.
Modelo
La acción→ Las acciones.
Also, singular nouns that end in -z will change to -c when they become plural.
Modelo
La actriz→ Las actrices.
3. If there is an article in front of the noun it changes to plural form.
