Topic 1
Are you ready to learn some (more) French? Here is how this unit is set up:
- Each section has a vocabulary presentation at the beginning. This is a place where you will learn and practice the pronunciation of the new words. Play these videos as many times as you need and take notes!
- After the vocabulary presentation, there is a link to a set of QUIA activities. These activities are optional, but highly recommended. There are four "games" for each section that you can play in order to practice the vocabulary. Play these until you know the vocabulary well.
- Then, there are "Assignments". All of the "Assignments" are required for completion of the course. See the course information page above for more details on what each assignment is worth.
- At the end of the course, you will put everything you have learned together in Part Four where you will complete three required summative assessments: a menu, a presentation for travelers to France, and a Skype one-on-one interview with your instructor. These projects are worth the most points (again, see course information sheet).
Bon courage!
