Reading Test Remediation

Select one of the following scenarios and create a scene that uses one of the patterns of writing. You will create an xtranormal video to share with the class. For each, you will tell the story about what happened using one of the five patterns. Remember to use that pattern's signal words!

Here are the scenarios:
--a person telling another person about a proposal of marriage
--a person telling another person about the scariest thing he/she has ever seen
--a person telling another person about his/her most embarrassing moment

Obviously, chronological order is very easy. So, if you select telling the story using chronological order, you will receive a maximum grade of a C+. All of the other patterns (definition, compare/contrast, process, cause/effect) can earn an A+.
