Breaking Your Book Into "Chunks"
Click the title of your chosen book below. Start a discussion with your teammates about how to split your book apart. Divide the book into 4 (nearly equal) sections based on the number of pages (do the math!). A person (or people) can propose how many pages/chapters you will need to read to complete the book in 4 weeks. Other group members can reply by agreeing with that timeline or proposing a different arrangement of chapters.
Note: You must NOT start reading the book until your group has decided on it's 4 sections. This will ensure that all group members are in approximately the same place at the same time. (See book club rules for more details about this policy). The more agreeable and decisive your team is about choosing the sections to read, the more quickly you can start reading!
Your forum discussion will be done when every member of the group replies to the thread with a statement like, "I agree that our 4 sections should be: Ch. 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-14." Once you see all members in agreement, you may begin reading the first section (only)!
