Your first assignment will be to create an avatar representing yourself and your interests. In the example above, sometimes I'm feeling a bit wild or "beasty" (hair, makeup, claws), but I do love my coke (t-shirt) and one of my favorite holidays is Halloween (bat tattoos on arms). The umbrella? I love a nice rain shower, especially at the lake. One comes to love rain at the lake as Minnesota has its fair share.
One of the websites below may be used or you may find another site to make an avatar. You must have a print out of your avatar (at least 4 x 6 inches) with no label. Please don't show your friends your avatar, as we will be matching up the printed avatar with the person it represents. Be ready to defend why the avatar represents you and your interests.
You may also upload your avatar for your profile picture here in Moodle. The sample on the assignment topic was created in meez.com and saved as a headshot. Go to participants, click on your name, edit your profile, and insert your saved image.
