Commonly Confused Words
Good & Well



As a review, recall that the word GOOD is an adjective which describes nouns.

The Kung Pao chicken was really good.
The Gooding town parade was a good event to attend.

The word WELL is generally an adverb that describes verbs. The exception is when WELL is used to describe health.

James did well on his geometry exam.
The team played well and won the soccer tournament.
