Chosing Five Unknown Vocabulary Words for Weekly Assessment
Each Week you will be asked to write down five useful, unknown words that you find in your reading, hear in daily life, or hear in class.
To decide if a word is useful or not, you should think about the likelihood of using the word in the future. Is it a word you have heard several times before? If it is, submit the word.
You assignment should include:
Submit your assignment by Tuesday of each week. On Wednesday you teacher will tell you which words from your list will be on your individualized assessment on Thursday.

- The sentence in which you read the word or the context of the conversation you heard the word.
- The definition from the online dictionary written in your own words. Do not copy down definitions you do not understand.
