Unit 4 - Activity 1The Reflective Cycle
In this lesson you will develop a plan for reflective thinking in your classroom.

Task 1
Create a new Google Doc to record the following prompts:
  1. Will students be required to develop personal goals for their portfolio? Longterm? Short Term?
  2. What scaffolding will you use to help your students with their thinking?
  3. How often will students be encouraged to submit throughout your course? Weekly, Biweekly, Monthly, End of course?
  4. How will you indicate interest in your students work?
  5. Will you assess your students? If so, how?
  6. What types of media will you allow? Blog, Video, Images, ect..
  7. How will you encourage students to discover connections between:
    • Different elements in your course
    • Theory and practice
    • Different disciplines - connect with other subject areas?
    • Real world application (How will this learning affect the student outside the classroom?)
