Unit 4 - Activity 1
In this lesson you will develop a plan for reflective thinking in your classroom.
Task 1
Create a new Google Doc to record the following prompts:
- Will students be required to develop personal goals for their portfolio? Longterm? Short Term?
- What scaffolding will you use to help your students with their thinking?
- How often will students be encouraged to submit throughout your course? Weekly, Biweekly, Monthly, End of course?
- How will you indicate interest in your students work?
- Will you assess your students? If so, how?
- What types of media will you allow? Blog, Video, Images, ect..
- How will you encourage students to discover connections between:
- Different elements in your course
- Theory and practice
- Different disciplines - connect with other subject areas?
- Real world application (How will this learning affect the student outside the classroom?)
After you have completed this assignment, be sure to create a new page and embed it to your e-Portfolios! Be sure to include an introductory caption!
