Create a Multimedia Activity
In this step, you will create a presentation or a video that corresponds to a unit of study that you will be teaching. Make one that is like the ones that your students would make. The links below will give you directions for creating presentations for a variety of subjects.
A book report, an informative presentation, persuasive presentation, or a science experiment

A digital story (video)

Upload the presentation or video that you created. There is a 20 mega byte limit on the size of files that you submit. If you choose a video (which I would recommend), you might want to upload it to schooltube or Youtube and post the link to the video rather than attaching the actual file. If you upload your project to one of those sites, remember student privacy requirements. Do not include any student names, either written or spoken on your project. You are also to respond to at least two posts created by others in this forum.
Make sure that you pay particular attention to the last part of the digital stories directions. If you upload the MovieMaker file, no one will be able to view it. That is just a collection of links to pictures videos, or music on your computer. Since they do not exist on anyone else's computer, they will just see a bunch of red X's. You will need to follow the directions for saving to your computer on the second from the last line in the directions.

Saving the video
"Don't click on File and Save because that will save the file as a Movie Maker project. Save the project as a video in the Finish Movie section. Click the option for Save to my Computer. The best option is to follow the recommended options throughout the save video wizard."
