Productivity Features
If you are interested in using your iPad as a laptop to complete some productivity work such as taking notes, producing spreadsheets or creating/viewing PowerPoints you may want to consider some of the following Apps. Each App has a direct link to the iTunes store so you can read the reviews and purchase it if you want.
In addition, I would like you to post one comment or an additional App that you use to be more productive. Think about how these Apps can replace something you already use instead of adding another thing for you to do.
Docs To Go has become my favorite word processing App. I like its flexibility and ability to work with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Drop Box is a great tool if you want to share information among your devices. You can just place a document, powerpoint, excel sheet in the box on your computer and open it up if you have an App that reads them on your iPad. If you don't have something that reads from place to place, you can still open PDfs.
EverNote is great if you want to write notes to yourself or voice memos. You can use it among your multiple devices so you always have access to your notes.
Office2HD allows you to be able to work with the same types of Microsoft programs such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Pages is the Apple based word processing program. This App just got an updated feature where you can add folders to manage your documents.
Please Add to this forum any additional resources you have found or at least one comment on an App that you think you or your students might use.
