Creating Assignments

Now you have your course online, you can ask students to submit their assignments online too. Having the assignments submitted online means there is a much better record of who has submitted what and when, there's much less chance of assignments going missing.

There are 4 different types of assignment in Moodle, the video below demonstrates describes how you can create each of these and how you can view the student submissions ready for grading:



Perhaps the best way to understand how the assignments is to try them out. Try creating an assignment of each different type to discover what the differences are, and try to submit a test assignment.
