READ: Acceptable Use Policies

When you use a computer system or network owned by others, you often must agree to the terms of an "Acceptable Use Policy" or "Terms of Service Agreement", which details how the system or network may be used. If you use the system or network in a way that is not allowed, you can lose system privileges and be held responsible for consequences. In this sense, your information privacy can be limited when using a computer system.

You should always take care when using computer systems, especially since acceptable use agreements and terms of service can include the right of others to monitor your activities and use your personal information. You should never offer personal information to strangers.
