Internet search engines allow people to quickly find information they want.

For the purpose of this assignment, you can use any search engine you like. Examples of search engines are:

google.com
ask.com
dogpile.com
altavista.com
yahoo.com

To search for something, simply enter your search terms and hit enter.

If you want to narrow your search further, you can use advanced search options.
  • If you want to be sure that all of the words in your search appear in the resulting pages, include the word AND between your search terms.
  • If you want results that contain any of the words you are searching for, use the word OR between terms.
  • If you want to be sure that results don't contain certain words, use the word NOT before those words.
  • If you want to find a specific phrase, put that phrase in quotation marks, like this: "Nobel Prize Winner 1987"

**Note: most modern search engines have an "Advanced Search" feature that will allow you to narrow your searches effectively and easily.
