What is a Survey?
A survey is a method of gathering information from a sample of individuals. The goal is to find out how people feel about a particular issue, or to get their opinion, or preference on something.
A survey serves as a powerful analysis tool. It helps a company or organization draw conclusions about it's service. It reveals areas they need to improve.
Today you're going to practice gathering data from your fellow classmates. You are going to conduct a survey about their favorite fast food places they like to visit. Click on the link for Gathering Data to get a copy of the survey sheet you will be using to record your data.
