Unit 2 Education Essay: Objectives
What is Education? Who would've thought that education could be a controversial topic? In the current political climate, the argument seems to get more and more heated.
The problem is that people just can't seem to agree on many aspects of how to educate the students of this country.
There are issues surrounding public vs. private schools; teacher unions & pay, standardized tests; academic standards that students must master; the value of Arts & Electives in Education...and so on...and so on. It never seems to end.
In the meantime, if you're reading this, you are most likely trying to earn an English credit. Why? What's so important about that?
In this assignment you have an opportunity to seek your own answers to some of these big questions surrounding Education.

Step 2: Now that you're relatively informed on the topic, it's important that you have time to apply this to yourself and form your own opinion. Being able to have your writing "sound" like you is called Voice.
