Add-ons, Extensions, and Toolbars
All modern browsers allow users to add custom features to their browsers by installing add-ons, extensions, or toolbars. These added features include everything from blocking advertisements (AdBlock Plus) to saving webpages to read later (Read It Later) to showing random webpages based on a user's interests (StumbleUpon). Browse Firefox add-ons and Chrome Extensions to try a few out for yourself. Many websites provide their own add-ons or toolbars, so keep an eye out at your favorite sites.
