The Asteroid Belt is located between the inner and outer planets in our solar system.
Asteroids are large chunks of rock that were left over when our solar system formed.
Thousands of these large chunks of rock have been discovered and they are discovering thousands more each year. Most orbit the Sun in a broad region known as the asteroid belt. The asteroid belt is located between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.
