Communications Tree - The Wildlife Society
As humans, we tend to think of most communication as verbal. In the natural world, communication can have many forms. This unit shows the importance of the surrounding environment where a tree serves as a scent post for a variety of species. Interactions between species also requires an animal to interpret behavior that is not genetically programmed.
