Activity 2 - e-PortfolioePortfolio image

Task 1
- Post your maps to your e-Portfolio on a new page.

All of the concept map sites will either allow you to embed the map from the website or download a picture. You will need to decide how you will publish your concept map. What is the name of the page? Where is it located? Is it clear to your audience?

Task 2 - What is the purpose of your students e-Portfolio? Post it to your e-Portfolio.

The purpose of the e-Portfolios you are creating for this course
  • To store and develop your lesson plan ideas/artifacts to support e-Portfolios in your classroom.
  • To practice using Google Sites to become familiar with the tool to help accommodate questions/needs of your students.
  • To apply e-Portfolio components directly to a working e-Portfolio using Google Sites...just as your students eventually will in your class.

In the Discussion Forum 1 you selected an e-Portfolio type. Expanding on that discussion, you will need to decide what will be the anticipated purpose of your students' e-Portfolios. Create a new page called "Purpose" and post the information. Why is this ePortfolio important? When students know and understand this it will help engage them in the process of development.
