Above the Line Below the Line Activity

In this Above the Line Below the Line activity, you'll explore and gain insight into some of your teacher-student relationships. The activity will take approximately 15 minutes, and consists of two parts: an activity and a reflection. To start, complete your Above the Line Below the Line worksheet by following the four steps. Take you time, and give the activity some good thought. When you're finished, return to the course here. Also, please hold on to the worksheet as we'll be returning to it later in the course.

Reflection Activity

Once you've finished the worksheet, look it over. Take a look at the top circles and the bottom circles. Are there differences? After reflecting on the worksheet, write a short paragraph on the following questions:

  1. What are your thoughts, observations, or ideas on how your worksheet turned out the way it did?
  2. Will you try to change your teaching practice because of this activity?
