Aggregating Content

There are many websites that allow you to combine and filter RSS feeds. Here are a few basic ones to get yous started:

Yahoo Pipes

For the more advanced, try Yahoo Pipes. Pipes is a powerful composition tool to aggregate, manipulate, and mashup content using a drag & drop interface. You can use Pipes to combine multiple RSS feeds or to filter content based on keywords.

Netvibes

Netvibes is an online dashboard for monitoring content from multiple sites. You can create public pages on Netvibes to share content with students. See the EdTech News site as an example.

Curating Content

Scoop.it

Use scoop.it to curate web content for your students. Scoop.it is currently in private beta, so you'll have to request an invite.

Searcheeze

Collect webpages, text,images, and videos to create an online magazine.

Google Reader

If you use Google Reader, you can use the Send to or Share features to share indivual items to a blog or Google+ page. These buttons are located at the bottom of each item.
