Presentation Tools
Prezi
Prezi is a zooming, twirling, non-linear presentation tool that allows you to combine text, images, video, and audio into engaging presentations. Be sure to sign-up for a free education account and then visit Prezi's Education Exchange for presentations by other educators.
Collage photos, videos, text, and audio clips into interactive timelines or stories.
webdoc
Middle school and high school students can create interactive, multimedia documents by pulling content from social media networks, video-sharing websites, and other cloud-based apps. Students can sign-in using Facebook, Twitter, or email.
Glogster
Create interactive, online posters by combining text, images, video, audio, and links. Posters can be embeded on other websites. To use Glogster with your students, sign-up for a Glogster Edu account.

Narrated PowerPoint Presentations
Using Powerpoint, students can combine picture-based slides with a timed audio narration to create multimedia stories (see help docs for Office 2003 or Office 2010 to learn how to add narration). To share these online, upload them to authorSTREAM, which will convert the presentations to video and enable you to embed them online. Slidshare allows users to sync presentations with .mp3 files. It's a bit more cumbersome, but an option for those without Microsoft Office.
