Which resources/activities should I use?

Remember!  All Moodle options have an HTML editor that allows for linking to websites, linking to elements within Moodle, adding images and videos, and embedding.  Choose a resource/activity that is best for your purpose.

Allows for a single page of information.

Use the page of content delivery. The page is designed using the HTML editor.

Lesson

Allows for multiple pages linked together with other graded activities within.

Choose to allow students to answer questions as well as receive content. The lesson components are designed using the HTML editor.

Book

Allows for multiple pages with its own table of contents.

Deliver large amounts of content in chunks.  A table of contents with chapter titles are listed to the side. Each page is designed with the HTML editor.

File

Opens a single file.

Provide students with a single file.  The file does not provide an HTML editor within itself.

Folder

Opens a folder with multiple files.

Select this option if you need students to open several different files to print or use.  The folder does not provide an HTML editor within itself.
