Yo Form Notes and Practice

This is a video on the infinitive and the yo form of -AR verbs. Verbs in Spanish are words that indicate action, just like in English. We conjugate verbs in English (you just don't necessarily realize you're doing it) and you'll learn how to do this in Spanish, in this video. Here's an example of conjugating a verb in English with the verb "to be". We don't say "I be." We say, "I am." You've just conjugated the verb (put it in a different form to make it match your subject). If you continue on, you'll notice that it isn't "you be". It's "you are". Then "he/she is", "we are", "they are" and "you people are". Each of these subject changes (I, you, he/she, we, they, you people) indicate a different form of a verb. This video is focusing on the infinitive (the "to _______") form and the yo form (I ________). If you have any questions, please contact your teacher.
