1.1.0 What's an A. U. P. ?

Students, do you know what an A. U. P. is?

The District has rules that allow all the computers and resources to be used fairly and legally. These rules, also called the Acceptable Use Policy, are in the Parent-Student handbook every year. Your parents and you must agree to these rules in order to use the computers and resources at school. You should look at this Acceptable Use Policy because you will be held responsible for the rules it outlines. Please use this link.

When you have finished reading the explanation at the link above, you will need to write a response to what you wrote. When you click on the "Edit Submission" button below, you will have a space to write. Please write in response to the following prompt:

1. Write what you believe an AUP is, in your own words.

2. The article talked about the Safety of Self and Others; Access and Uses; Copyright Laws; Illegal Activities; System Security; and Respect for System Limitations. Pick one of these areas that interests you the most. Put the most important ideas from one of these areas in your own words. (It is okay to go back and look at the link again.)
