Unit 3 contains:

• Content that is very inter-related
• Nine benchmarks or learning targets
  • Two "subunits." containing 4-5 benchmarks (one benchmark overlaps both subunits) or learning targets 
  • Smaller lessons & activities within subunits building toward mastery of overall content contained in the Citizenship and Participation portion of your government course

The content in Unit 3 is organized sequentially. You need to complete the lessons, activities, assignments, etc. in order and check off what you have completed as you go. It is imperative that you complete the unit in this manner as the material builds on itself and you will need material learned prior to each successive lesson.
