Try these on your own before viewing the solution!!! These people also show different methods of solving the problems. You can use the method that you learned previously, or try one of their methods.

Example A:

Problem: Pb + S8 ==> PbS

How many g of PbS will be produced from reacting 6.43 g of S?

Example B:

Fe2O3 + Al ==> Al2O3 + Fe

How many g of Al are required to react with 85 g of Fe2O3? (Note: this video does not put the answer in the correct # of sig figs.)

Example C:

If 19.0 g of oxygen gas reacts with hydrogen gas to form water, how many grams of water will be produced?

Examples D & E: (Both are in the same video)

N2 + H2 ==> NH3

If 5.0g N2 react with hydrogen gas, how many g of NH3 are formed?

Na + Cl2 ==> NaCl

How many g of chlorine gas are needed to react with 12.0 grams of sodium?
