This course is designed to teach you the principles of proper physical fitness.
Being physically active is a key to good health, but there are other factors as well. True fitness is a result of strength, endurance, flexibility, cardiovascular activity, and healthy nutrition.
In order for you to make regular exercise a part of your life, you should find something you like to do, and that helps you meet your fitness goals.
There is no need for expensive, state-of-the-art equipment or fitness club needed. Lifting your own body weight will build muscles, and a good pair of shoes and some comfortable clothes are all you need to walk, jog, run, or hike. If you are more adventurous, add some rollerblades and a helmet or some cross-country skis, and off you go!
