Personal Fitness 

Physical fitness has been defined as the body’s ability to carry out daily tasks and still have enough reserve energy to respond to unexpected demands. But exercise is not the only way to improve your fitness. Participating in sports or other action oriented activities such as dancing, yoga and ti chi also are effective ways of staying fit. While regular exercise contributes to physical fitness, it does not make a person personally fit. To develop your personal fitness goals, you must remember to focus also on your lifestyle choices.

· Maintain acceptable levels of physical fitness.

· Participate in regular physical activity

· Eat nutritious foods.

· Sleep 8 to 9 hours per night

· Have regular medical check ups

· Maintain an appropriate weight

· Avoid harmful substances such a tobacco and drugs.

· When you can legally drink and if you choose to drink alcohol, drink in moderation

· Protect yourself from disease
